The mission of The Carlow Chronicle is to enlighten and entertain the Carlow community while also promoting awareness. As Carlow University is predominantly a women’s college, the publication will feature articles and discussions focusing on a variety of women’s issues.
The publication will include reports and speculation on areas of general interest and current events written in a feminist perspective, and will also strive to include different perspectives and a diversity of opinion. The focus will not be limited to concerns of the campus, but will be widened to include global concerns as well, as a knowledge of the world only serves to enrich the lives of the college student.
The Carlow Chronicle provides a forum for the Carlow student’s opinions, concerns and also for their creativity. We hope the experience brings us together, as women, and as individuals in the circle of the Carlow community.
Make a submission to The Carlow Chronicle for the next issue. Submissions need to be typed in Microsoft Word, in Times New Roman -10pt font, and saved to a diskette. Please no fancy formatting unless it's artwork. The disk can then be put under the door of room 308 of Frances Warde Hall.
